Linda Manley earned her BBA and MBA from the University of Missouri–Kansas
City. She was employed by a private university for over 11 years before retiring to enjoy
a quieter life. At the university, she served as Research Director,
overseeing the staff of 15 research advisors and granting institutional approval
to the masters’ theses written by students. During that time, she read and
reviewed over 1000 student projects. Linda also managed the curricula of the
five graduate and undergraduate business degree programs. The centralized curriculum model used by the university
allowed for differentiation of similar disciplines in the various programs so that
students could precisely tune their educations.
Linda provided the university with editing services for course descriptions, class schedules, the catalog, and the student handbook. She reviewed and edited many of the documents that were distributed to the public, and she taught workshops in MLA format to students. At her retirement, she wished to continue to provide support to students and to the academic community, and she launched this small editing service. You can be assured of personal handling of your documents and a genuine concern for your work. Today, Linda works from home in her loft office, surrounded by pictures and souvenirs of tropical vacations. Clients must endure her occasional absences during the worst of the winter, when she opts for short escapes to warmer climes. (Web site links to vacation photos are available upon request.) |
